Accounting job in Mt Vernon NY

Motif Designs is seeking a full time employee with excellent accounting, organizational and communication skills for its Interior Design Department.

Job responsibilities will include:
Assisting with pricing of products and services.
Placing purchase orders with suppliers.
Tracking deliveries.
Recording vendor bills.
Managing accounts payable.
Billing clients.
Managing accounts receivable.
Month end reports.
Assisting in preparation of financial reports.

Qualifications for the position are:
College degree in accounting.
Two to three years accounting experience.
Proficiency in Quickbooks.
Proficiency in Excel.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
