Busy Distribution Company in Poughkeepie, NY seeks full time accounting professional. The ideal candidate possess 4- 7 years of hands on accounting experience in the areas of accounts payable, accounts reconciliations, billing, collections, matching and coding invoices, data entry, expense reporting, vendor inquiries and accruals, general ledger, report preparation etc. Must be proficient in Excel, Word. This job requires someone that is comfortable working in a stressful, fast paced environment with short deadline dates. Must be detailed oriented, be able to multi task, and have excellent follow up and trouble shooting skills. This position requires someone who has excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Being able to work well with others and also working autonomously is imperative for success. This is a perfect job for someone that likes challenges and takes pride in his/her work.
