Responsibilities:
Manage the daily Linux, Netapp filer and VERITAS Netbackup support of production and development groups/systems
Configure systems’ network parameters, and monitor system stability and performance
Help develop tools (scripts) to monitor and maintain systems
Rapidly scale systems to meet demand
Oversee and perform all system upgrades, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
Performing all physical moves and managing any building power-downs
Oversee and update the Business Continuity Plan as necessary
Write extensive documentation
Working in a cross-functional environment with project managers, and application programmers to roll out new services
